Private Lessons
Whether you’re a beginner who wants to try surfing for the first time in a one-to-one setting, a group of girls celebrating your friend’s hens, a corporate team, or an experienced surfer who wants to advance to the next level, this is for you.
Our professional, expert surf instructors are trained to work with people of all ages and skill levels. Every instructor is hand selected and goes through an intensive training program. Our instructors are also certified in CPR and First Aid, so you can feel assured that you are getting the best surf training in the world. You can schedule a private lesson just for yourself or with a small group of friends or family members. It’s great fun to take a lesson with your kids, friends or for a laughter-packed Hens Party!
If you are competing in a surfing contest, we can also provide one-on-one coaching with one of our head instructors to help you prepare. Let us help you take your surfing to the next level!
In a private lesson we want to set you up with an instructor who is perfect for you and we also want to know all about you and your goals so please send us an email and we can book it for the perfect day. info@saltygirlssurfschool.com

You don’t really need to bring much to your surf lesson, but try to remember the following items:
- Swimwear
- Towel
- Sunscreen
- Drinking water
- Your booking voucher (printed or on your phone)
- A HUGE smile!!!
We will provide you with the following when you arrive for your lesson:
- Surfboard
- Wetsuit
- Rash Shirt
- Sunscreen
- Professional Instruction from our experienced surf coaches
At our surf school, we run surf lessons in all weather and surf conditions, rain hail or shine, providing it is safe to do so. If the surf is too big, or completely flat, or if the conditions are unsafe due to high winds or lightning, then we will reschedule your lesson. If we change the time and you are unable to come to the new lesson, then we will provide a credit toward another lesson at a later date. If that is unsatisfactory we may issue a refund at our discretion.
If you would like to reschedule a lesson you have booked, we need at least 24 HOURS NOTICE. Failure to give the necessary notice will mean you forfeit the cost of that lesson. Under these circumstances, there are no refunds, partial or otherwise.
